The AI World Academy was founded to answer a question that troubles every serious educator today: how do we prepare a generation for machines that can think, without asking them to forget how to reason for themselves?

Gurukul Global Knowledge Foundation

The AI World Academy is the specialised flagship wing of the Gurukul Global Knowledge Foundation (GGKF), established under a registered trust in 2018 to carry the gurukul ideal into the digital age: knowledge inseparable from character, and mastery inseparable from service.

The Academy exists because the technological revolution powered by AI must be guided by human values of integrity, responsibility and sustainability. Its work spans education, innovation and enterprise development, from the school classroom to the university campus and the innovation incubator.

Age-graded AI literacy curricula, from primary school to postgraduate study, calibrated to national frameworks and grounded in values and integrity.

Centres of Excellence, incubators and applied-AI labs established on partner campuses, with governance frameworks and continuing academic oversight.

Teacher Enablement

Structured faculty programs so that AI-augmented pedagogy becomes an institutional strength, not a personal hobby.

Prof. P. B. Sharma

President, AI World Academy

Prof. P. B. Sharma has spent five decades building Indian higher education. He is the founder Vice-Chancellor of Delhi Technological University (DTU), a former Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Gurugram, and President of the World Academy of Higher Education and Development (W-AHEAD).

The Academy carries his conviction that the technological revolution must be guided by human values of integrity, responsibility and sustainability, and that India's academic tradition has something the AI century needs.

The Academy's Academic Council and Advisory Board, drawing senior academics and industry practitioners from across the Foundation's network, are being constituted.
